Chaman, Leaders from Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Theoretic Balochistan, including Amir Maulana Abdul Qadir Loni and District Amir Chaman Maulana Ahmed Khan, have issued a strong condemnation against the Frontier Corps (FC) for its recent actions in Perlat, Chaman. They accused the FC of exacerbating local tensions through excessive force and desecration of bodies. The religious leaders have declared their support for a community-wide strike in protest against the ongoing border closure that has persisted for seven months.

According to Jamiat Ulema Islam, the group articulated serious concerns regarding the “deliberate worsening of the situation” by the FC, leading to civilian casualties and a coercive atmosphere that has spurred strikes and protests. The leaders, including Maulana Muhammad Khan Shirani, Hafiz Ahmad Ali, Mufti Hamadullah Madani, and others, expressed deep anger and condemnation over the incident, urging provincial and national authorities to take decisive action against terrorism and ensure the safety of religious figures.

According to Jamiat Ulema Islam, the JUI leaders visited the family of Maulana Muhammad Siddique Mengal to offer condolences and express solidarity. Rawalpindi, The head of Tehreek-i-Nafaz-e-Fiqah-e-Jafriya (TNFJ), Allama Agha Syed Hussain Muqdisi, has strongly denounced the police brutality inflicted on participants of a peaceful mourning rally organized by the Mukhtar Organization in Islamabad. Expressing deep regret over the incident, Muqdisi called for immediate action against the officers responsible for the unjustified arrests and violence against the mourners, urging the government to uphold the fundamental right to peaceful protest.

According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, Muqdisi criticized the incompetence of certain administration officers, holding them accountable for exacerbating the situation. He emphasized the importance of releasing senior leaders, scholars, and innocent participants who were detained during the rally, affirming the TNFJ’s commitment to protecting faith and homeland at all costs.

Muqdisi emphasized that despite attacks on rights, silence would not prevail, asserting that protest is a fundamental right. He underscored the need for international attention to restore destroyed holy places, citing the damaged grave of Hazrat Imam Jafar Sadiq (AS) as a pressing concern. Muqdisi advocated for the Mousa peace formula as the sole solution for sustainable peace, urging the government to focus on restraining banned extremist groups instead of targeting peaceful citizens and organizations.

Despite facing obstruction from Islamabad Police, TNFJ workers and scholars maintained peaceful conduct during the procession from the Press Club to D Chowk. The 10th anniversary of the Righteousness of the Family of Muhammad concluded with solemnity and determination, reaffirming the commitment to the noble goals of the Ahlul Bayt Athar (a.s.) and the noble Companions (ra). Mourning ceremonies and coffin processions were observed nationwide in cities including Quetta, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, and Muzaffarabad, among others.
